             FILLERS: PRINCIPLE OF ACTION

facial fillers.jpg

It is a non-surgical rejuvenation that helps eliminate deep wrinkles and the effects of ptosis (tissue prolapse due to gravity). The filler not only restores the volume of the tissues and "elevates" them, but also hydrates the skin. It enters the cheekbones, the nasolabial folds and between the eyebrows, acne scars, the corners of the lips, under the eyes, etc. The most popular fillers are based on hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. Thanks to it, our joints move smoothly and the skin has elasticity and firmness.

With age, the amount of hyaluronic acid begins to decrease, which, in turn, leads to a deterioration in the appearance and condition of the skin. There are also medications based on calcium hydroxyapatite, a component of human bone tissue. In addition to hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxyapatite is a biodegradable element, but, unlike hyaluronic fillers, the effect may be longer.

Our medical center IBERIAMED collaborates with the largest and most famous provider companies such as MERZ (Radiesse, Belotero), JUVIDERM, FILORGA, MEDIGLOBAL (Renú, Revolax), HIALUAL.

For the procedure, our specialists use needle and cannula techniques (flexible needles that do not affect the blood vessels, penetrating into the middle layers of the skin so that the surface of the skin is slightly damaged). The result is kept for up to one year: the Filler resolves over time, after which the procedure should be repeated.
