Tension threads are resorbable suture threads recommended to treat sagging skin. They have a structure that is not smooth, they have cones, spicules or knots and require support to anchor themselves to the fat. The tension threads can be made of propylene or polydioxanone. This treatment also favors the collagen genesis and tissue revitalization in the treated area.

The safety of the threads technique is guaranteed by the combination of materials widely known and used in cardiovascular surgery for years and the appropriate techniques by suitably qualified medical professionals. Although they are completely reabsorbed at 6 months, the tensor effect caused by endogenous collagenesis lasts over 12 months, and can be reinforced.

The application procedure is very simple, it is only necessary to apply local anesthesia at the entry and exit points of the sutures. The patient does not report pain and the next day she can continue living a normal life taking into account our recommendations. The sutures are inserted under sterile conditions through the skin into the subcutaneous tissue. The thread is inserted beginning to re-absorb and begins to generate collagen and elastin.
